perhaps inspired by the festive the spirit…our work has been made darker… even the seemingly innocent zine about our dear friend prince.

and,

we googled some ostriches, and are excited to present the official mansion ostrich group logo. in the spirit of collaboration, the logo is made up of not one but three awesome designs from our in-house artists.

can you guess whose is whose ? all you fans out there, put your guesses in the comment section, and we’ll give the first person who gets it right a big prize !!!

and remember, mog will be tabling the fantastic expozine, saturday november 13 from 12 pm- 6pm

mansion ostrich teasers !

in preparation for the upcoming montreal festival of zines, expozine (november 13, 12pm- 6pm), we, the artists of mansion ostrich group, have been busy working on a number of projects that we are excited to share.

a dynamic portfolio is slowly coming together. collaboration is our philosophy, and a number of our zines are being worked on as a team. but don’t worry – you’ll get that healthy dose of lon-y, rebecca-esque and rot-ten inspiration, as we will also be presenting works created individually.

the mansion ostrich group is excited to announce our participation at montreal’s fantastic expozine, now in its ninth year.

mog will be at expozine, montreal’s annual small press, comic and zine fair, on saturday, november 13, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 5035 st-dominique (eglise saint-enfant jésus, laurier métro). free admission.

come and support this fresh group of local artists. come be inspired by our collaborative, whimsical and often dark, always humorous, projects.

the establishment of (the) MOG

as of 15 october, 2010, a group of montreal based artists have collaborated and established (the) mansion ostrich group.
